Lamine has over 18 years of experience in providing accounting support in accordance with Mauritanian GAAP and international GAAP. He began his career at two major local firms before joining a Canadian multinational group, and later co-founded B&L Consulting. He holds a Master’s degree in Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Higher Commercial Studies of Carthage (IHEC Tunis), with specializations in Accounting Expertise, Organization and Management (CES), Legal and Tax Studies (CES), and Auditing. Lamine is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Order of Mauritanian Chartered Accountants. Throughout his career, Lamine has supported major companies in their registration, operational setup, and demobilization processes in Mauritania. His portfolio includes leading clients such as the Mauritanian subsidiary of the Kinross Group, TotalEnergies, and more recently, the Moroccan conglomerate Afriquia. He has also successfully collaborated with international firms on Mauritanian accounting matters, including Deloitte, Ernst & Young, CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats, and Moore Insight. His expertise spans a wide range of industries, including mining and gas, food processing, banking, maritime transport, and more.

Prior to joining B&L Consulting, he spent 9 years as Mission Director at a tax and accounting firm in Mauritania. LAM is an expert in payroll management. He holds a Higher Diploma in Accounting Expertise from the Accounting Expertise Preparation Center at Gaston Berger University in Senegal. In addition to his extensive experience in corporate payroll processing, LAM has a solid background in auditing and tax advisory services. He has a thorough understanding of Mauritanian tax legislation, which he has effectively applied to assist companies in managing tax adjustments following audits by the authorities. LAM has supported companies operating in various sectors, including construction, telecommunications, maritime transport, mining, and more.
